Lord remember those worse than me
who are hurting and down
those precious souls of whom I love
the ones that have been found

when You washed them in precious blood
and made them whole again
they became my dear beloved
my family and my friends

I grieve for those who do have needs
that which I can’t supply
only You in Your rich bounty
can meet each need described
____
you know me Lord and how I hurt
the times I draw near You
seem small is such comparison
in trials that others go through
____
I’m glad I serve a living God
Who meets our every need
the God of all the universe
takes care of you and me

yes I’m thankful for my life
contented full of love
hopeful for that day in heaven
we’ll join our Lord above

my heart goes out to the lowly
Lord help them see the Light
give them the courage to continue
having fought the good fight
